"Jazz belongs to everyone - not just those who can afford a ticket"

GSA Jazz Nights is a complimentary concert series organized and produced by Justin Kauflin, bringing exceptional jazz directly into the Norfolk community.  Since its inception, the series has featured both beloved local musicians and internationally recognized artists, always at no cost to the attendees.

The series emerged from Justin's conviction that live jazz should accessible to everyone while ensuring fair compensation for the artists.  By hosting performances at the Governor's School for the Arts, the concerts blend artistry with education - exposing students to working musicians while offering the wider Hampton Roads Community an intimate, extraordinary musical experience.

"Besides loving teaching, he's very passionate about helping our local jazz scene realize its full potential"
