NAMM Pro Accessibility Panel

Greetings!

I first want to send a sincere THANK YOU for your continued support of all my musical endeavors in 2018 and can’t wait to share all that’s coming up in the New Year.  I’m extremely excited to be heading back on the road in support of my latest CD, Coming Home for the next 3 months and hope to be able to see you in person if I’m in your neck of the woods.  But before things get rolling, I have a couple things coming up this weekend I want to let you know about.

This Saturday, I’m honored to be participating in Avid’s Accessibility Panel Discussion at the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) conference in Anaheim, CA.  This is something that has made a real difference in my life as a blind musician, and I'll be sharing the stage with other blind professionals, as well as a few outstanding companies who have taken the time to include accessibility in their products.  This is an extraordinary undertaking and the progress that Ive seen in recent years has truly transformed my creative output in so many ways.  As exciting as it’s been, there certainly is a long way to go to ensure access for all.  If you or someone you know will be attending NAMM this weekend, it would mean a great deal to me if you could check out this hour-long presentation.  If you know someone who might benefit from this discussion, please spread the word!  Greater awareness is key to moving forward on this issue.

Additionally, on the following evening I’ll be making music with some fantastic musicians right here in L.A. at Sam First Bar...Dave Robaire and Shawn Baltazor!  It’ll be a great hang, and if you're in town, we’d love to see you!
